We might be neighbours, but do we really know each other?
Hi! I'm a dual CAN/USA citizen. I came to work and live in California much later in life - about 10 years ago. It's been a non-stop cultural adjustment, much more intense than I anticipated. I have learned a lot about American culture, but I've also learned as much (if not more) about Canada. Although we are neighbours we are really quite different. And we don't really know each other. I hope these posts will help bridge that knowledge gap. Or at least serve as a conversation starter. This is really based on my own observations and experiences, but I will reference sources whenever possible.
